After the more as 20 Years working (till 1980) with SANDOZ Ltd. In Basle, together with a lot of very efficient co-workers in my department, and looking back to the last 20 years (since 1980) working every day with the real needs of the Textile Finishing Industry, I would like to thank everybody who - in any possible way - has always stimulated my creativity and encouraged my vision concerning new ways helping to increase the efficiency and the quality of work.

In all these years I have had the opportunity of develop a lot of different approaches trying to relate all the aspects of the finishing, specially of the dyeing processes. As young man, after my different degrees in the University, I have decided to find ways in order to make possible in the finishing industry to adopt methods similar to the spinning and weaving industry in which simulation of production steps was possible through mathematical and specially mathematic-statistical approaches. My chemistry and my engineering background has allowed me to develop a complete vision of the production problems. After my Graduate in the International Management Institute in Geneva, this vision has been even strong related with the entrepreneurial goals of each company.

I am very thankful, because the experience of the last 10-15 years has confirmed the validity of all my approaches.

Now, by these new and fantastic communication possibilities I and my Son Pablo would like to make accessible all these experiences and the big package of computer programs - developed as tools for specific evaluation and as support for decision making - to further interested people. Our approaches are not only limited to production and technical fields, but also extended to larger fields as management of dyeing activities, analytical costing, elaboration of tools for decisions - as ways to recognize areas of improvement - etc.

We are always very sensitive also to any kind of suggestion. They helps us to maintain our brains always prepared to face a changing world, a changing market, a changing profile of requirements in order to help our customers and friends to be well prepared for any future change of scenarios.

Please, don't hesitate to propose us specific areas and wishes, always with the goal to make the textile finishing industry more flexible, more accurate in results, less dependent of corrections, better fulfilling economical and ecological goals. We will try to give you our evaluation and to show you which ways are we using to face it.

Please, allow me to wish to my Son and excellent collaborator Dipl. Ing. Pablo Carbonell-Klempt all kind of success. The way is not easy: the competitors try to extrapolate our concepts in the unsuitable sense, the suppliers of the textile finishing industry have the susceptibility, we are their competitors. But I know he has a clear, honest concept and more and more we are moving in the direction of partnership with our customers, supporting the dialog with suppliers and working very firmly with the suppliers understanding that we are "only trying to sell common sense". Pablo: that is a fascinating task, because has a lot of human substance! Thanks for your excellent collaboration.
